What is mi:or?
A quieter place to post. Write for everyone, for one small group, or only for yourself, and decide which every time you post. Read more about mi:or
Who can see my posts?
Whoever you chose when you posted: everyone, the people in one group, or only you. A public post can be made private later, and a private one public.
Who can find my groups?
Anyone can find a group and see who is in it. Only its members can read what is posted there, and joining needs an admin to approve it.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we use no tracking or advertising cookies.
GETTING IN
How do I join?
mi:or is invitation only for now. Request an invitation and we will email you a code once it is approved. If someone has already sent you a code, sign in and enter it.
Is there an app to download?
There is nothing to download from an app store. mi:or installs from your browser in a few taps.
How do I install it?
iPhone and iPad
Open mior.me in Safari. Tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen.”
Android
Open mior.me in Chrome. Tap the menu (⋮), then “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen.”
Desktop
Open mior.me in Chrome or Edge. Click the install icon in the address bar.
NOTIFICATIONS
How do I turn them on?
Go to Settings and turn on “Push on this device.” Your browser will ask for permission. On iPhone and iPad, install mi:or to your Home Screen first.
Why am I not getting any?
Check that notifications are allowed in your browser’s site settings and in your device’s notification settings.
